I am a second year MBT student and an IT professional with over 20 years’ experience. Having originally intended to study for an MIT, I arrived at a UTS open evening with an open mind, having not studied for over a decade I saw going back to university as something needed to do. During the open evening I read the subject outline for both the MIT and the MBT subjects, with an executive role in strategy at Australia's largest financial institution it was clear from the outset I would benefit far more from the MBT subject. So I enrolled that evening and within three weeks started my first two subjects.

Each and every subject that I have studied, has enhanced my skills and know how, it has also provided me the ability to use my newly obtained knowledge in real life practical use cases within my role provide my organisation benefit whilst improving my career advancement. The quality of lecturers and industry expertise within the MBT subject provides a quality learning experience for the students. The MBT community as a whole provides a network of likeminded individuals that are always keen to support and help each other through both your learning experience and your ongoing career.
